Leadership

The Lord called Jonathan to the ministry when he was 16. Serving the Lord in His church, Jonathan has worked as a youth pastor and worship pastor in church plants and established churches. Jonathan served as Pastor of Fellowship Church at Plum Creek in Kyle TX, from 2007 to 2020. During the spring of 2020, God called Jonathan’s family to start Hope Church in Rockport. Jonathan is married to the love of his life, Elizabeth, and they have four children: Ethan, Kara, Megan, and Ellie.

Eric was born and raised in Rockport, Texas.  The Lord called Eric into music ministry when he was 19. Eric has served as a vocational worship minister for more than 20 years. Eric also teaches math at Annapolis Christian Academy.  He is married to his high school sweetheart, Angela, and they have been blessed with two children, Drew Elizabeth and Nate.

Dillon has come to Hope Church as our Associate Pastor and Church Plant Resident. Dillon has a genuine heart for the Lord and a deep passion for ministering to people and advancing the Kingdom. In this season, he will be serving faithfully within our church while also preparing for future church planting efforts. Dillon is married to Dayna and they have four children, Judah,  Elayna, Arya, and Rowan. 

With a background in Political Science from Baylor, Joel came to Hope Church as a passionate pastor with a heart for teenagers in April of 2024. Joel married the love of his life, beautiful Lauren, a music teacher, in August 2024. Joel & Lauren are excited to be part of the Rockport-Fulton community  and explore the Coastal Bend. They love to fish and be outdoors.

Anesheia was born and raised in Rockport, and has over 20 years of experience with preschool aged children. Anesheia has a heart to be patient with children, love them, and teach them about Jesus on their level. Anesheia is married to Ray, and they have four children: Zach, Paige, Addison, and Cam and a sweet granddaughter Steeley.

Khryse has an incredible love for the church, and an amazing gift of administration. Serving in churches of all sizes, she has helped organize and lead ministries to impact the Kingdom of God.  She also leads our Hope Women including Women's Bible Study and Leadership Team. Khryse is married to Zack. They have three children: Dariann, Kerbie, Christian, and two beautiful grandchildren, Wrenley and Rowan!

Elizabeth is married to the pastor, Jonathan Leftwich. They, along with their 4 children: Ethan, Kara, Megan and Ellie moved to Rockport in 2020 to plant Hope Church. Elizabeth has a heart to serve the Lord in any way God wants to use her. She began by serving as Children's Pastor for the first 4 years and now is continuing to serve on staff as the Administration Assistant. She loves being a part of all that God is doing through Hope Church. It is her joy!
